  • Overview

    Reporting directly to the CIO, the Director of IT Corporate Business Systems is a key participant on the HealthPRO- Heritage leadership team with overall responsibility for enterprise application strategy and delivery, business relationship management, and driving adoption of technology solutions that create measureable business outcomes for the business. Additionally, the role will have direct, hands-on oversight of the deployment, configuration, integration and ongoing operation of key business applications in the corporate office of a national physical therapy provider. The Director must have extensive experience with application development life cycle, system implementation and administration and enterprise end-to-end systems integration. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, demanding, and rapidly growing environment providing solutions aligned with business objectives to deliver excellence in client service, revenue growth and innovative operating efficiencies.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for all aspects of Corporate Division Enterprise Applications including HRIS, Finance, Accounting, Legal and Business Development systems.
    • Daily strategic and operational responsibilities toward the corporate business application portfolio. Working closely with internal business partners to understand their business and to best utilize process, data and technology as an enabler to achieve department goals and operational effectiveness
    • Ensures successful project execution, process consistency and efficiency, data flows and integrity, security, business intelligence, reporting and future vision.
    • Lead direct reports and project groups through vision/scope, solution and action planning, document needs and schedules, validation testing and enterprise integration to system implementation.
    • Proactive vendor management, cost and quality controls, vendor proposal and selection process and contract negotiations.
    • Analyze business requirements, costs and benefits, project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives through formal business cases and project charters
    • Recognize innovation opportunities using emerging technology services and products, and create and define strategies that provide a competitive advantage across the industry. Evaluate existing applications and platforms and provide recommendations for system enhancements by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications.
    • Work in a hands-on manner with internal business unit stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs and strategies

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Business Administration with 10+ years of practical experience managing projects, implementing systems and defining business requirements using processes and methods including but not limited to ITIL, PMI, RUP, and Agile
    • Deep experience in human capital management and accounting applications
      • Experience in complex, multi-site such as Workday or ADP implementations preferred
      • Experience in other major ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle)
      • Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany, Tax, Purchasing, Cash Management, Cost Management, FP&A, Fixed Assets and Supply Chain.
      • Experience with Customer Relationship Management and Contracts Management
    • Skilled people manager with focus on developing talent.
    • Prior experience in mid-market enterprise and/or complex corporate environments, Healthcare experience a plus.
    • Information Technology disciplines such as software engineering, design and development, package solution evaluation/selection and implementation, application integration, business process re-engineering, outsourcing, IT governance, application architecture, security and disaster recovery planning
    • Proven experience with deployment of complex application integration strategies including SaaS, iPaaS, web service APIs, and legacy file-based integrations
    • Exceptional organizational and planning skills, capacity forecasting, analytical abilities, problem solving, and follow through.
    • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences; ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and promotes understanding by not overcomplicating
