We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable BT/RBT to support students in the STRIVE program at an elementary school in Darlington, MD. This is a unique school-based opportunity where you’ll work as part of a special education classroom team, supporting multiple students with varying behavioral and developmental needs.
Rather than working one-on-one with a single student, you’ll help implement individualized behavior strategies, promote positive classroom behaviors, and support students throughout their school day. You’ll work closely with the special education teacher and classroom team, who will provide the majority of day-to-day guidance and direction.
Please note: Due to the structure of this school-based program, consistent BCBA supervision is not available at this location. As a result, RBT supervision hours cannot be signed off by a supervising BCBA, and this position does not provide a pathway from BT to RBT certification. Candidates interested in pursuing RBT certification through supervised fieldwork should consider our other ABA opportunities.
This role is a strong fit for an experienced BT/RBT who enjoys a collaborative classroom environment, working with multiple students, and making an impact beyond a traditional one-to-one ABA setting.
