Overview

HealthPro Heritage has a great Full-time Front Desk- Physical Therapy department for our busy Physical Therapy Department at The Hebrew Home- Riverdale, NY. The Physical Therapy Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. This includes scheduling patient appointments, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, and coordinating with therapists to optimize the daily schedule.

Wage ranges: $17.50-$20 hourly

Responsibilities

  • Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

  • Verify insurance information and maintain accurate patient records

  • Ensure all documentation is complete, organized, and up to date

  • Supervise administrative staff and support their daily tasks

  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and overall clinic operations

  • Maintain compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations

  • Foster a positive patient experience and address any scheduling or operational issues

  • Support the overall goals and efficiency of the physical therapy team

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office management, preferably in a healthcare or physical therapy setting

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage patient scheduling, staff coordination, and administrative workflows

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for professional interaction with patients, therapists, and team members

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Office, and other administrative or scheduling software

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

  • Commitment to providing a positive patient experience

  • Background in billing, insurance verification, or basic accounting is a plus
