Overview

HealthPro Heritage has a great Occupational Therapy Opportunity.

Need: Full-time

Location: Sanctuary at Tuttle Creek in Dublin, OH

Setting: Long-term-care

Here are some reasons an occupational therapist (OT) might want to work at Sanctuary At Tuttle Crossing in Dublin, Ohio — along with some context you might consider before applying:

1. Opportunity to Make a Real Impact

  • The facility provides physical, occupational, and speech therapies as part of rehab and long-term care, so an OT can play a key role in helping residents regain function and independence after injury, illness, or decline.

  • Smaller, personalized care settings often allow therapists to build deeper relationships with residents and families and tailor treatment plans closely to individual needs.

2. Work With Diverse Geriatric & Rehab Populations

  • OTs here may work with a mix of short-term rehab patients and long-term residents, offering variety and the chance to apply skills across multiple levels of care (e.g., assisted living, skilled nursing).

  • This setting is especially meaningful for OTs who enjoy helping older adults with daily living skills, adaptive strategies, and functional recovery.

3. Community & Team Environment

  • Some reviews highlight a warm, welcoming atmosphere and caring staff who work closely to support resident well-being.

  • In smaller facilities, interdisciplinary collaboration (with nurses, social services, PT/SLP, activities staff) can be more direct and cohesive.

✔️ 4. Professional Growth

  • Working in a setting with multiple care levels and varied resident needs can help an OT broaden clinical experience.

  • You might have the chance to build or shape therapy programming in ways that directly influence resident outcomes and departmental processes.

🧠 Summary: Why an OT Might Choose This Job

Meaningful clinical impact: You’ll help residents improve function and quality of life.
Variety of practice: Work across rehab and long-term care populations.
Close teamwork: Smaller community atmosphere can allow deeper collaboration and resident relationships.
Growth potential: Opportunities to develop programs and refine clinical skills.

Just be sure to ask about workload, staffing levels, therapy resources, and support for professional development during interviews, because those factors can vary and significantly affect your experience.
