HealthPro Pediatrics is seeking a passionate Early Intervention SLP to support children and families in the Gettysburg area. This PRN opportunity offers true flexibility—pick up visits when it works for you while maintaining your current full-time role.

What Is Early Intervention (EI)?
Early Intervention supports young children in their natural environment (home or daycare) to help them reach important developmental milestones. EI focuses on coaching caregivers with practical strategies they can use daily to support their child’s speech and communication development.

Compensation:

  • $55–$75/hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide Speech sessions through the use of current best practices based on services defined in the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Work with families/caregivers in the child’s natural environment and throughout the community while supporting the families daily routines.
  • Collaborate with other professionals that support the child/family to aid in the achievement of outlined goals.
  • Maintain all documentation of service delivery required by the program. This includes session noted, quarterly progress summaries, and annual IFSP input.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
