The Clinical Analyst plays a vital role in driving operational success through teamwork, effective clinical practice, and data-driven decision-making. This role works collaboratively across Finance, Clinical Strategies, Field Operations, IT, and other departments to transform clinical and operational data into actionable insights that enhance quality outcomes and organizational performance. As an integral member of a cross-functional team, the Clinical Analyst partners with leaders and field teams to identify trends, monitor key performance metrics, and align findings with shared clinical and operational goals. Through collaboration and continuous communication, this role helps teams translate data into improved processes, stronger clinical outcomes, and measurable operational results.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize multiple data sources, including EMR platforms (NetHealth, Raintree, Visi, Facility EMRs) and data tools (Qlik, PowerBI).
  • Proficient use of additional platforms such as Advisory Board or Profility
  • Analyze company, department, and institutions’ operational, clinical, and/or financial performance
  • Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and drive change management initiatives
  • Analyze data trends and to identify patterns, behaviors, variation, and outliers
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to inform provider performance improvements
  • Extrapolate relative ROI related to recommended operational and clinical changes derived from data trends
  • Direct support of site level and customer facing data

Travel:

  • This position may require minimal travel, could include up to 25% or greater, based on need.
  • Most of the work will be in a virtual capacity.
  • Work is performed in an office environment or remote and may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or higher in a therapy or healthcare discipline and/or data-related field; Rehab Director or Program Manger experience preferred.
  • Exhibits advanced expertise with Excel and BI tools
  • Ability to translate large data sets into actionable recommendations
