- Carries out various credentialing processes in relation to all healthcare professionals throughout the organization
- Collects and processes significant amounts of verification, credentialing and accreditation information, and thus must constantly maintain and update accurate databases for both therapists and facilities. These databases include pertinent education, training, medical documentation, work experience, and licensure content
- Prepares and provides all credentialing records for regular auditing
- Maintain close communication with all appropriate staff to ensure that records are up-to-date and consistent
- Represents the company in a professional, courteous and competent manner for all credentialing concerns or issues
- Works closely with current employees, recruiting team, HR staff, Operations leadership, and all other associates to identify facility-specific credentialing changes and updates
- Anticipates needs and helps to identify solutions for increased success
- Actively involved in HR based committees and meetings, as needed, to help promote both HR and company goals and ensure the needs of all employees and customers are being satisfactorily met while remaining conscious of fiscally responsible time utilization
- Communicate credentialing updates and/or status reports to Director and Operations leaders
- Maintains key metrics of the credentialing process
- Demonstrates good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills necessary to maintain an orderly and goal-directed work environment for self and the team
- Prepares and submits weekly/monthly reports timely and reflects a clear understanding of the outcomes being communicated
- Collaborates with staff to implement new or modified credentialing programs
The Employee shall maintain the confidentiality of all protected health information (PHI) whether electronic, written or oral to which he/she may be exposed either during the course of their duties or the result of an incidental disclosure. In accordance with the minimum necessary standard, the employee may only access PHI to perform the job as a Human Resources Compensation and Systems Analyst.
- View, create, add, and modify all clinical and demographic protected health information.
- Disclose clinical and/or demographic protected health information for the purpose of patient treatment, healthcare operations and/or payment for services.
- Disclose all protected health information for any authorized purpose.
- The minimum necessary standard must be applied in all matters and shall continue privacy protection during non-working hours and after employment is no longer with the company.
