Overview

HealthPRO Heritage has a great opportunity for a Clinical Operations Manager! This position provides direct, hands-on clinical and operational support to assigned sites, ensuring excellence in patient care, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role partners with site leaders, therapists, and operational teams to drive clinical outcomes, enhance employee engagement, and support customer retention. The Clinical Operations Manager serves as the frontline clinical resource for assigned communities, with frequent on-site presence to coach, train, and implement best practices.

Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence

  • Provide on-site and virtual clinical coaching, mentoring, and support to therapy teams.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve patient outcomes, quality measures, and value-based care initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
  • Conduct audits, chart reviews, and workflow assessments to identify gaps and implement solutions.

Operational Support

  • Partner with Rehab Directors/Program Managers, and customer leadership to ensure therapy programs meet organizational and customer needs.
  • Support staffing, onboarding, and retention strategies by building a culture of clinical excellence and engagement.
  • Assist with new program rollouts, pilots, and scaling of proven clinical models.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for education
  • Strategize with Operations leaders with SL/Wellness trends for clinical development/resources

Customer Retention

  • Act as the clinical liaison with site partners, families, and referral sources to build trust and strengthen relationships.
  • Support resolution of clinical concerns and ensure rapid response to customer feedback.
  • Demonstrate value to customers through data analysis, outcome reporting, and regular site-level presentations.

 

Business Development

  • Attending Trade Shows
  • Hosting Member Association Webinars
  • Support RFP Process

 

Education & Development

  • Provide in-person and virtual training to staff on therapy standards, new initiatives, and compliance updates.
  • Mentor clinical leaders and support succession planning at the site level.
  • Share best practices and success stories across assigned regions.

Knowledge and Skills

 

  • Associate or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Current professional licensure.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical practice; prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven success in long-term care, CCRC, or senior living environments.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement, quality measures, and value-based care models.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to assigned sites (up to 50%).

Work Environment

 

  • Based primarily on-site at assigned communities, with travel across region/division as required.
  • Routine use of laptops, mobile devices, and virtual tools to support communication and reporting.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and meet medical/physical exam requirements.

  • Disclose clinical and/or demographic protected health information for the purpose of patient treatment, healthcare operations and/or payment for services.
  • Disclose all protected health information for any authorized purpose.
  • The minimum necessary standard must be applied in all matters and shall continue privacy protection during non-working hours and after employment is no longer with the company.
