Overview

HealthPRO Heritage has an exciting opportunity to lead the Talent Acquisition team! The VP of Talent Acquisition will lead the Talent Acquisition team and recruiting organization. The VP’s focus will be both strategic and tactical, driving workforce planning, implementing outcome-based recruitment strategies, and being accountable for improving key TA metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate drop-off, and new hire retention. Responsibilities include developing and delivering a highly effective staffing process and partnering with Sr. Business and HR leaders to develop best-in-class programs, standards and practices that establish HealthPRO Heritage as an employer of choice. The VP will serve as a thought leader on sourcing, assessment and selection techniques to ensure a highly effective, results oriented recruitment and selection process. It is imperative that the leader has both a strategic and tactical focus, transforming Talent Acquisition into a high-performance adaptable function, creating new sourcing capabilities, achieving service delivery excellence and establishing standard work that creates a highly efficient staffing process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business plans, processes, strategy, and skills to improve service delivery and engagement success. Manages productivity including maximization of recruiter productivity by assigning full work load based on op-co needs. Represents the organizational as primary internal or customer contact for Sr. Leaders. Interacts with equivalent level inter-organizational managers concerning matters of significance to the company.
  • Staff Development - Coach and mentor direct reports in their development and provide mentorship to assist with reaching their goals to ensure staff retention.
  • Establish metrics, goals and expected performance levels for overall team productivity and provide feedback and coaching to direct reports where appropriate.
  • Provide training where necessary on the appropriate skills and techniques; Participate in HR regular training initiatives to gain understanding & capability to manage first level HR support / Employee Relations issues covering: performance management, time and attendance, policy interpretation, etc. · Effectively manage and document performance and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring all recruiters meet SLAs and customer satisfaction targets. Conducts briefings and meetings for top management. Provide weekly, quarterly, annual reporting on recruiting impact to include performance of team, results and trends within Line of Business, employee referral program, cost per hire, turnover, job board utilization, marketing initiatives, and other elements as determined
  • Establish processes that directly support 30-day, 90-day, and 1-year new hire retention; collaborate with HRBPs and field leaders to address trends in early exits.
  • Manage senior level recruiting for critical and confidential positions for the organization and engage in special projects as needed as team member or project lead
  • Maintain vendor relationships through regular touchpoints and business reviews.
  • Research and recommend new sourcing tools and recruiting software, as needed.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to track and reduce contract labor reliance, ensure offers are market-aligned, and build field accountability for hiring velocity and new hire success.
  • Oversee all Talent Acquisition systems and reporting, including ATS optimization (iCIMS/UKG), requisition workflows, offer approvals, and onboarding integration

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years’ experience with the ability to lead a functional area of the company and make critical business decisions.
  • Experience solving difficult business issues with creative solutions.
  • Ability to drive enterprise wide strategies and goals. Able to interact with high-level decision makers.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of company personnel.
  • Ability to coach and develop a team. Prior experience in implementing and managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Knowledge of HR practices such as OFCCP, AAP, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits
