HealthPro Pediatrics has a great Special Instructor opportunity with our Pediatric Clinic in Jacksonville, NC! Part time with case building to full time, if desired! Teaching experience with young children with disabilities and their families required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support through the use of current best practices based on services defined in the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Work with families/caregivers in the child’s natural environment and throughout the community while supporting the families daily routines.
  • Collaborate with other professionals that support the child/family to aid in the achievement of outlined goals.
  • Maintain all documentation of service delivery required by the program. This includes session notes, quarterly progress summaries, and annual IFSP input.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: 
  • Birth-Kindergarten Education/Early Childhood Special Education/Special Education/Education/Elementary Education
  • Child Development/ Human Development/Family Relations/ Family Studies/Family and Consumer Sciences/Child and Family Studies
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Counseling
  • Nursing
  • Another human services field
