HealthPRO Pediatrics seeks a LMFT/LCSW/LPC for Pediatric Outpatient Clinic based position

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/ Licensed Clinical Social Worker/or Licensed Practical Counselor position available to begin ASAP! 
  • Part time position to build to full time ....... Your life, your schedule!
  • Lakewood, CO
  • Pay range is $60-65 per hour DOE.

 

HealthPRO Pediatrics, in partnership with Milestone Pediatric Therapy Services, provides therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families.  In addition to psychotherapy, professional services might include parent training for supporting children/adolescents with social/emotional concerns and management of challenging behaviors and supporting children in the development of social skills.  Maintenance of records in an ethically appropriate manner using practice software. Case consultation with other providers within the practice. Follow up with outside providers for continuity of care. Represent the practice in a professional fashion. Necessary Skills/Qualifications: Qualified applicants must be licensed as a mental health provider in the state of Colorado (or eligible for licensure). Expertise in working with children and teens. Experience working with ADHD and ASD.  Knowledge of and expertise in applying empirically supported treatment modalities. Excellent interpersonal skills in person, by phone, and in written work. Ability to and interest in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge of ethical standards and relevant law relating to the profession. Computer skills (minimally word processing and comfort with internet usage/email). Flexibility and creativity in approaching new tasks and responsibilities.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Prefer individuals with experience as part of a multi-disciplinary practice team. Interest in growing in hours and responsibilities as caseload grows.

Responsibilities

 

  • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
  • Attend team meetings and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including: physicians, psychologists, therapists, school staff, and parents to provide holistic services
  • Write evaluation reports, treatment plans, progress reports, correspondence and other paper work needed to provide high quality services and maintain records in EMR
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication 
  • Participate in parent, community, and professional training efforts
  • Participate in activities aimed at developing and marketing the program
  • Supervise graduate students or clinical fellows
  • Strong organizational skills/ self-motivated/ ability to be flexible and adapt to changing schedules/ great at time management/ strong communication and customer service skills
